Pastor Dr. Charles Ealey of Webberville Road Baptist Church is a musician and community legend living in Austin, Texas. He is a multi-instrumentalist who has marched in hundreds of halftime shows including the Dallas Cowboys. Ex-inmates Wayne and Mark return to the Boggo Road Gaol to feature in an art exhibition. Convicted of murder and manslaughter they collectively spent 42 years confined in conditions described as ‘barbaric and inhumane’. Wayne and Mark were witness to violent riots which saw the gaol’s closure and national prison reform and both turned to art to survive the human deprivation and boredom. Boggo Road Gaol closed in 1991 and both men eventually served their time in other prisons. The Gaol is set to undergo major urban redevelopment. They meet again at Boggo Road Gaol to share their art and memories.
